ICC @ Asian Institute of Certified Bookkeepers

ICC Administrative Coordinator for Records Riza Toribio, ICC Administrative Coordinator for External Affairs Arlyn Ladica and ICC Bacoor Branch Coordinator Reyan Bellido recently attended a seminar/workshop organized by the Asian Institute of Certified Bookkeepers at the Greenbelt Mall in Makati City. The seminar covered the following topics: 1) Introduction to Bookkeeping; 2) Asset, Liability, Equity, Revenue and Expense Accounts; 3) T Accounts, Debits and Credits, Trial Balance and Financial Statements; 4) The General Journal and the General Ledger; 5) Adjusting Entries and the Work Sheet; 6) Closing entries and post-closing Trial Balance. The seminar was conducted by De La Salle University Professor and Certified Public Accountant Ms. Fe Baluran. ICC is strengthening its Computer Secretarial program by integrating the new Bookkeeping National Certificate 3 competencies outlined by the Technical Education & Skills Development Authority (TESDA)'s Central Office. The seminars, lessons and materials from the Asian Institute of Certified Bookkeepers would help ICC’s training team to further enhance and develop the knowledge and skills of ICC’s Computer Secretarial students.

ICC Administrative Coordinator Arlyn Ladica, ICC Alabang Branch Coordinator Charo Francisco and ICC Bacoor Branch Coordinator Reyan Bellido recently attended a Go Negosyo sponsored Entrepreneurship Seminar at SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City. The seminar covered the following topics: 1) Importance of Positive Entrepreneurial Mindset; 2) Spotting Business Opportunities and Finding the Right Market; 3) Product Development & Innovation; 4) Marketing, The Right Way. Go Negosyo is a private sector led movement in the Philippines that seeks to encourage and train Filipinos to become successful entrepreneurs. ICC is strengthening its Entrepreneurship Technology program and the seminars, lessons and materials from the Go Negosyo movement would help ICC’s training team to further enhance and develop the knowledge and skills of ICC’s Entrepreneurship students.

ICC Dasmariñas Branch Coordinator Gherlyn Tumale and ICC Training & Operations Staff Jeffrey Cena recently attended a Digital Video seminar at the Philippine Center for Creative Imaging, Chino Roces Avenue, Makati City. The workshop/seminar covered  the following topics: Digital Video Cameras, Digital Video Formats, Digital Video Camera Terminologies, Camcorder Video Production, Lighting Systems, and Sound Techniques. ICC is strengthening its Multimedia & Internet Technology (MIT) program and the seminars from the Philippine Center for Creative Imaging would help ICC’s training team to further enhance the knowledge of the MIT students.

Awarding of Outstanding Branches and Loyalty Service Awardee

ICC President & Founder Manny P. del Prado recently awarded ICC’s Outstanding Branch Coordinators for achieving their branch target for the 1st semester of school year 2010-2011. The awarding ceremonies was held during ICC’s General Staff Meeting last July 3, 2010 at ICC Alabang, RCM Sycamore, Alabang-Zapote Road, Ayala Alabang, Muntinlupa City. Recognized & awarded with financial incentives were: ICC Alabang Branch Coordinator Charo Francisco and ICC Bacoor Branch Coordinator Reyan Bellido. ICC Administrative Coordinator Arlyn Dongallo was likewise recognized for her Ten (10) Years of Loyalty Service to ICC.
